This demarcationist approach best explains the difference between the:

  • basic associative process which is called receptive style of thinking -- and can be characterized as quantitative, ignores the critical subtle aspects of the reality in favour of "pragmatic" communication; thoughts of this type are called QRRs

and

  • advanced associative process which is called generative style of thinking -- and can be characterized as qualitative, ignores the idea of "pragmatic" in favour of discerning the reality logically; thoughts of this type are called QGAs
